Prenatal Education Class Series

At The Women’s Hospital at Jackson Memorial, our prenatal education classes are designed to be taken in sequential order. The class series is broken into three classes, including labor and delivery, variations of delivery and medical interventions, breastfeeding, baby care, and safety. Our class series is enhanced by our partnership with Injury Free Coalition for Kids of Miami. The final class will include hands-on safety education designed to build awareness for parents and caregivers on the most common household dangers for infants and children.

If you participate in the prenatal education class series, a tour of the facility will be included.

In order to provide our expectant families with one-on-one attention, space is limited in our prenatal education class series. We recommend parents sign up early to ensure a spot. The classes should be taken between 30 and 36 weeks of their pregnancy.

Only mom to be needs to register and one support person is allowed.
