We offer our breastfeeding classes at three convenient locations in Miami:
- Jackson Memorial Hospital

- Jackson South Medical Center
Please note, some of our in-person classes are not taking place at this time. If you have enrolled for one of our classes, a nurse from the facility you enrolled in will call you directly to provide further instructions. If an in-person class or tour is not possible, the nurse will facilitate an over-the-phone class/consult and answer any questions you may have.
What prenatal breastfeeding classes do you offer?
Prenatal breastfeeding classes are generally taken during the last trimester of a pregnancy. We provide two prenatal breastfeeding classes:
- Breastfeeding, Baby Care and Safety class
- History of Breastfeeding and Safe Sleep
Our prenatal breastfeeding classes are offered in Miami at three locations, take a look above to find a class that fits your schedule. We also offer one-on-one consultations.
What is covered in your Breastfeeding, Baby Care and Safety class?
During this class, a healthcare professional will go over breastfeeding basics, from latching to how to position the baby. We’ll also go over basic infant care and when to contact a medical professional.
What is covered in your History of Breastfeeding and Safe Sleep class?
During this class, a healthcare professional will go over the history of breastfeeding and the advantages of breastfeeding both for mom and baby. We’ll also introduce you to the concepts of safe sleep, giving you the knowledge of the importance of creating a safe sleeping environment to prevent infant sleep-related deaths.
What is covered in your Breastfeeding Support Group?
This support group is for new mothers who have elected to breastfeed; we’ll provide you with helpful tips on proper breastfeeding techniques and guidance on how to feed your new baby.
